Hey! I’m Alanna and I’m a fully qualified personal trainer, group instructor and nutrition coach in Flyefit Liffey Valley. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Biology and Chemistry and I am a certified Precision Nutrition Coach. Having played sports all my life, nutrition, exercise and how the body works has always been an interest of mine. Through continuous education and gaining confidence/belief in myself, I feel I have the tools necessary to help kickstart your fitness journey. I am extremely passionate about helping others improve their life and gain all the positive benefits that can be achieved through health and fitness, as I did mine. Hi! My name is Ciara. I have a ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training and Fitness Instructing, VTCT ITEC Award in Nutrition for Physical Activity – Level 3, a qualified PE and Biology teacher and I also hold a Research Masters qualification in brain health and exercise.
I am an elite endurance athlete and have represented Ireland on a number of occasions in multisport i.e. duathlon (run-bike-run) and triathlon (swim-bike-run). I have come from a very strong athletics background with a 3K PB of 9.46, 5k PB of 16.49, 10k PB of 36.00 and half marathon PB of 1.29.
I have 10 years’ experience of working with individuals of all ages and abilities in a physical activity setting. I understand the importance of dedication, hard work and consistency in order to achieve goals. I have studied the effect of exercise on brain health and cannot stress enough the importance of including physical activity in your lifestyle!

As a semi professional footballer for Drogheda United FC and Shelbourne FC over the past couple of years I have realized how important it is to look after your body in all aspects, playing league of Ireland football can be challenging physically and mentally, as I started to take up in the gym I seen improvements drastically in them area’s. I fell in love with the gym side of things and decided to go and get my personal trainer qualification EQF level 4. I have brought every aspect of the gym into my football and now bringing all my professionalism from football into the gym!
