Hey I’m Rob, I have a diploma in personal training and qualifications in nutrition and mobility. I aim to attend at least two courses a year as I find it’s very important to consciously up skill in this game.
With just over 8 years in the industry, 4 years in Macken street and having worked with over 80 female clients helping them lose unwanted fat, for holidays, weddings and mostly for themselves. I know a thing or two when it comes to getting sh#t done.
The approach I take with people is very straight forward, first things first, is to make sure you have fun and learn along the way. On day one you will go through a movement assessment, so that I can make sure the programme I put together is specifically tailored to you and your goals.
With nutrition, there’s a lot of information out there, and the “Which is the best diet” question comes up a lot or the “What do I eat” or even better the, “How much should I eat”. I will find out exactly where your knowledge with nutrition currently lies. Explain everything from nutrition myths to how many calories or grams of protein should you have and why. From there I will then make sure you learn along the way, taking the guessing and confusion out of it all.
The aim is lasting results, not just short term, focusing on the after after not just the before and after.

Hi, my name is Scott and I’m a Personal Trainer here at FLYEfit Macken Street. I have dedicated the past twelve years of my life to the study of anatomy, movement, pain science and exercise, starting with my BSc Honours in Physiology in Sports Science at Glasgow University. After leaving and beginning my work as a PT, I discovered that textbook style training never yields the best results, and studied further with Faster Health and Fitness where I reached the level of course director and movement educator, meaning I train and mentor other PTs on how to improve in their careers as well. Having undergone knee surgery and it taking much longer than it needed to be for me to recover, I truly understand the importance of an individualized program and that’s what I’ll be doing for you. So whether you are with me to train for a race, recover from an injury, improve your strength training, or simply to look and feel better, I will be helping you step by step along the way.
