My back ground is sports therapy, dry needling and teaching yoga. I’m the head yoga instructor for Flyefit and I’m a personal trainer here in Sallynoggin. I’ve a big interest in strength and mobility and functional movement. I believe strength and mobility is the foundation on which we must build on in order to move pain free and strive towards building a strong body.
I firmly believe that for anything to grow, or anything to take shape, a strong foundation is key. This is why i believe so strongly on the basics. We can not build unless the foundation on which we want to build upon is solid. Everything I do is fortified by the basic principles of training and nutrition.
Coming from a yoga and mindfulness teaching background i also know what a powerful tool exercise can be for our mental health. It can have a profoundly positive effect on our mind, relieving stress and can boost our overall mood.
